KT launches recruitment drive for AI, IT specialists

South Korean telecom giant KT Corp. is ramping up its efforts to bolster its artificial intelligence (AI) talent, aiming to onboard up to 1,000 new hires in 2024 via year-round recruitment drives.

The company announced its recruitment initiative for positions ranging from staff to executive on Thursday. Applications open on Friday, with a deadline of March 3rd, 2024.

KT, along with its subsidiaries and affiliates including KT DS, KT Cloud Co., and KT Studiogenie Co., will be on the lookout for specialized talent in information technology and media fields.

Candidates can find detailed information and job descriptions on the KT recruitment website, with online applications also available on the platform. The recruitment drive also encompasses diverse fields including research and development, software development, IT project planning, cloud technology consulting, new business planning, and digital media and content creation.

Notably, KT aims to enhance its hiring of experienced personnel to immediately contribute to its digital transformation endeavors, with these roles requiring a minimum of three years of relevant work experience or a doctoral degree.

The recruitment will be continued throughout the year to quickly acquire professional talent capable of meeting evolving business demands. “We plan to recruit capable personnel as long as they have high expertise and competence in the field of digital innovation,” the company said.

KT will also actively promote employee and executive referrals to further boost its recruitment efforts from external sources.
