Starbucks to cut consumer benefits in March

Starbucks Coffee Korea Co. announced on Thursday that it will discontinue two of its benefits offered to consumers that buy food in the evening and a whole cake starting in March.

The Evening Food Hour benefit offers customers a 50 percent discount on food items when they purchase a sandwich, salad, or refrigerated bread along with a brewed beverage after 7 p.m.

The free drink coupon provided with whole cake orders will also only be available to customers who make purchases until the end of February.

Starbucks will offer a free drink coupon to customers that place whole cake orders by February 29 for collection before March 15.
