South Korean cosmetics startup FM Biohealth Co. launched a new skincare product that contains ginseng fruit extracts as an active substance, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

The Latov Prestige Nutrition Cream contains extracts from ginseng fruits and other natural ingredients with natural oils rather than chemical fragrances, which helps calm the mind and body. Ginseng fruits have a higher level of saponin concentration compared with the plant itself.

The cream helps to moisturize the skin and strengthen its barrier, while also being particularly effective in reducing wrinkles and removing dark spots, according to the company.

The manufacturer is also expected to complete a dealership agreement with a local retailer in the United States by the end of February 2024 to tap the new market.
