Smart home solution gains 100,000-strong customer base

Hyundai AutoEver Corp, a Seoul-based top tech solutions provider for the automotive industry, said on Wednesday that the number of household customers using its Internet of Things (IoT) solution for smart homes recently hit the 100,000 mark.

The company launched the solution, called Living & Life Smart Home Platform, in 2018 as an advanced network connecting artificial intelligence and Internet of Things tech.

Users can access and control all types of IoT-linked devices in their homes via a mobile app and use various wireless services that include identifying their parking spots. The platform was also deployed in residential buildings built by Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co.
