NHN KCP reports OP decline in 2023 despite sales growth

South Korean fintech company NHN KCP Corp. posted an estimated 42 billion won ($31.4 million) in operating profits in 2023, a 5.1 percent decline compared to the previous year.

According to the Kosdaq-listed company on Wednesday, its sales increased by 18.1 percent to 972 billion won compared to 2022, while net profits decreased by 0.4 percent to 34.7 billion won.

Limiting to the fourth-quarter results, the quarterly operating profits increased by 3 percent to 12.4 billion won year-on-year in 2023. Sales and net profit for the quarter stood at 268.4 billion won and 8.3 billion won respectively.
