Samsung Electronics announced the launch of a new wireless stick vacuum cleaner, the ‘Bespoke Jet AI,’ with enhanced suction power and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities on Wednesday.

The Bespoke Jet AI’s 2024 model boasts a powerful suction force of up to 310 watts, ranking it among the world’s top performers. The vacuum cleaner employs an ultra-lightweight motor structure crafted in a ‘chain core’ shape, optimizing the internal structure of key components to reduce air pressure loss and resulting in higher suction power compared to its predecessors.

The upgraded ‘AI Mode 2.0’ is a feature that automatically adjusts suction power based on the type of flooring, such as hardwood, carpet, or mats.

It also recognizes situations where the brush is lifted during cleaning and can adapt suction power accordingly. When cleaning corners of hardwood floors where dust tends to accumulate, the vacuum cleaner increases suction power automatically, ensuring a thorough and efficient cleaning process, the company said.

The AI system detects the load and pressure on the brush according to the cleaning environment, allowing it to set an optimized suction power. This feature results in a 25 percent reduction in battery usage compared to the powerful mode, ensuring efficient energy usage.

A new ‘HEPA filtration’ system prevents the fine dust sucked into the vacuum cleaner from escaping back into the air. Other features include the application of ‘hot washing brushes’ that spray hot water at 55℃ on contaminated areas of the floor, a ‘dust auto-empty system’ that clears hair without entanglement, and a ‘smart Wi-Fi’ function that notifies users of incoming calls or messages on the vacuum cleaner’s display during usage.
