LIG Nex1 and Hyundai Rotem signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Monday during the World Defense Show 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on sharing data in export markets, such as the Middle East.
At the Seoul International Aerospace & Defence Exhibition (ADEX) in 2021, LIG Nex1 unveiled a new model that connects its man-portable third-generation anti-tank guided missile called Hyeon-gung to HR-Sherpa, an unmanned vehicle built by Hyundai Rotem.
“Our cooperation with Hyundai Rotem will be an opportunity to expand the capabilities of the Korean defense industry in the Middle East,” said LIG Nex1 President Shin Ik-hyun.
