LG Electronics’ heat pump dryer top rated by Australia’s consumer group

LG Electronics’ laundry Tromm dryer with the model name of TD-H802SJW received the highest score of 84 among 41 products that have been evaluated by 52 experts for Choice rating. The score for the previous top-rated product was 83.
Choice reviews are highly trusted by consumers as experts personally test the products for evaluation. In their latest evaluation of dryers, experts noted highly of LG Electronics laundry dryer’s high energy efficiency, multiple drying programs, low noise, and short drying time.
The company attributed the favorable remarks on LG Electronics’ dryer to its inverter heat pump technology that uses temperature difference created by circulating refrigerants to remove moisture from clothes. The warm refrigerant first heats up the inside of the dryer to turn moisture from wet clothes into steam, which then the cold refrigerant makes that steam into water that gets drained outside.
The inverter heat pump technology voluntarily controls motor driving speed, which allows customized operations depending on the total weight of clothing or drying program selected by the consumer. This enhances energy efficiency as to other heater-based dryer products that uses warm air to dry up clothes and protects clothing material.
