Hanwha Q Cells Corp., a solar power unit of South Korea’s Hanwha Group, will attend the PV EXPO 2018, Japan’s largest photovoltaic power generation exhibition that will run from Wednesday to Friday in Tokyo.
As one of the four major solar energy exhibitions in the world with China’s SNEC PV Power Expo, Germany’s Intersolar Europe and America’s Solar Power International (SPI), this year’s PV EXPO will gather more than 1,600 companies and 70,000 visitors.
Hanwha Q Cells will introduce its high-performance products including the new Q.PEAK DUO modules fitted with Q.ANTUM Technology and half-cell technology enabling power outputs of up to 390 watt-peak (Wp) from 72 cells, 20 percent higher than its existing products.
It will also showcase its Q.HOME series, a residential solution consisting of solar modules, inverters and batteries, as well as products for companies and power plants. An official from the company said it aims to win more customers in the Japanese market by introducing wide-ranging products for households, companies and power plants at the show.
