Tesla releases 2017 Model S P100D in Korea

The car can crack 2.7 seconds from zero to 100 kilometers (62 miles), making it one of the fastest production cars in the world today, and its battery allows the vehicle to run as far as 424 kilometers on a single full charge, Tesla Korea said during a launching event in Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province held on Monday.
The supercar comes with a hefty price tag of 181.2 million ($169,000).
The car is equipped with the same dual-motor, AWD setup found in the Model S, delivering strong and stable driving performance.
Tesla Korea said it plans to up the infrastructure of charging stations across Korea to enable long-distance travel. The company currently runs 14 high-speed supercharger stations and 131 destination charger stations in the country.
