GS E&C OP up 94.3% on year in Q4, 123.1 % for full 2017

GS E&C on Monday disclosed that its operating profit reached 103 billion won ($96.2 million) in the final quarter, up 94.3 percent from a year ago. Sales rose 1.6 percent to 3.164 trillion won on year.
As of 1:21 p.m. Tuesday, shares of GS E&C were 3.33 percent up at 33,550 won from the previous session.
For full 2017, GS E&C’s operating profit jumped 123.1 percent to 319 billion won from a year ago, its biggest figure on the bottom line since 431 billion won in 2011. Sales were up 5.8 percent to 11.68 trillion won in 2017, the third year the company’s top line finished above 10 trillion won.
For this year, it targets 11.45 trillion won in orders and 12 trillion won in sales.
