Airbus’ A350-1000 makes first touchdown in Korea as part of demo tour

Airbus’ latest A350-1000
Airbus said during a press conference in Seoul that the A350-1000 boasting high efficiency and spacious cabins has been developed in a close cooperation with Airbus and global air carriers.
The A350-1000 is the latest model of the European aircraft manufacturer’s A350 XWB (extra wide body) series including the A350-800 and A350-900. Its first commercial service is expected to begin around next month by Qatar Airways.
For Korean air carriers, Asiana Airlines Inc. plans to fly 10 A350-1000 jets starting 2020. The country’s second largest full-service carrier that has added four A350-900 to its fleet so far plans to operate total 12 A350-900. It has also signed a contract to add eight A350-800 jets. Airbus said it has secured 169 orders for the A350-1000 from 11 airliners around the world.
