Doosan Heavy Industries presents ESS technology at DistribuTECH

DistribuTECH is the largest conference and exhibition event in North America for electric power transmission and distribution and energy storage system (ESS).
More than 540 companies from around the world attended this year.
Doosan Heavy Industries and Doosan GridTech were present in the exhibition for the second year in a row. Doosan GridTech set up a stand-alone booth to display its ESS software and platforms. "We actively promoted Doosan’s ESS technology and project performance capabilities during the exhibition that attracted more than 15,000 buyers and potential customers,” said a Doosan GridTech official.
In 2016, Doosan Heavy Industries acquired Seattle-based ESS software company 1Energy Systems and renamed it into Doosan GridTech. In September of last year, the company won a deal to provide a 10MWh ESS to the Beacon Solar Project, a photovoltaic power station in the northwestern Mojave Desert, run by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP).
