South Korea’s leading boiler maker Kyungdong Navien Co. unveiled its latest products based on condensing technology that helps significantly save energy and space at the largest exhibition for the heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) in North America.

The company said Wednesday that it grabbed attention from visitors at the 2018 Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition (AHR EXPO), held in Chicago, the U.S., with its latest boiler products such as NPE tankless water heaters, NCB combi-boilers and NHB gas condensing boilers that provide heating and hot water on demand regardless of house size.

The trade show is the North America’s largest exhibition for the HVACR industry that allows participants to grasp the cutting-edge technology and emerging trends in the sector. The show, which has attracted more than 2,000 exhibitors annually and 65,000 people from 165 countries worldwide this year, was held from Jan. 22 to 24.

Kyungdong Navien said its products have been gaining huge popularity in North America as they are equipped with Navi-Link, Wi-Fi remote control system.

At the exhibition, the company also unveiled its new residential and light commercial boiler Navien Firetube Boiler (NFB) and cascading system. The cascade system that connects small-sized boilers in parallel instead of installing energy-guzzling large-sized boilers has been emerging as a new energy solution for commercial buildings as it saves heating bills by 20 percent to 40 percent and space up to 60 percent.

An official from the company said the demand for eco-friendly and highly efficient water heaters and boilers has been rising not only in North America but also in other regions, and added that the company will continue to focus on developing more efficient products.

As of 1:12 p.m. on Wednesday, shares of Kyungdong Navien rose 1.99 percent to 61,500 won ($57.54) in Seoul trading.
