South Korea’s Hurom opens juice shop in Danang, Vietnam

Hurom L.S. Co., a leading manufacturer of juicers and kitchen gadgets in South Korea, said on Monday it has opened a store to sell juice and brunch dishes in the resort area of Danang in Vietnam.

The shop is located at Bach Dang Street near My Khe Beach in the city, a popular tourism spot to Korean tourists.

The shop will also serve tropical fruit ice flakes, panninis, sandwiches and other dishes to replace meals. The new franchise brings the number of Hurom’s shops in Vietname to eight. The company entered the Vietnamese restaurant market in 2014 and has run six shops in Ho Chi Minh City and one in Hanoi.

Hurom aims to open a second shop at Nguyen Van Linh Street, one of the busiest districts in Danang on Jan. 27. The company said Hurom Juice is well received by Vietnamese as healthy premium juices and its localization strategy to increase market reach will generate new income streams from overseas.
