LG Elec twin washer sales up 30 percent around the globe this year

LG Electronics said on Tuesday global sales of its laundry label Twin Wash in the January-October period surged more than 30 percent from a year ago led by high demand in Korea and the United States.
Shipping destinations doubled to 80 this year since its launch in 40 countries last year.
Twin Wash is LG Electronics’ patented dual machine with a front-loading washer at the top and mini-washer on the bottom for small loads. Users can use either one of them or both at the same time to maximize convenience and efficiency, an official at the company said.
The washing machine has recently been chosen as Innovation Award Honoree for CES 2018 by U.S. Consumer Technology Association.
Shares of LG Electronics on Tuesday ended 0.11 percent down at 94,300 won from the previous session.
