The notoriously trouble-making heirs of Korea’s conglomerate Hanwha Group are back in the news with the youngest Kim Dong-seon under probation for assaulting bar employees earlier this year has come under police questioning for using physical and verbal violence against rookie lawyers in September.

The brawl took place while Kim, 28, has been given a suspended sentence in January for assaulting employees at a bar in Seoul while under the influence of alcohol and damaging a police car.

According to sources on Monday, Kim allegedly slapped a male lawyer on the cheek and pulled a female lawyer by the hair after he joined a drinking meeting among the lawyers of a large law firm where the group was one of its big clients.

Kim apologized for his rowdy behavior and violent languages the following day but victims reportedly rejected his apology while remaining in shock.

This is the not the first time the Hanwha heir has come under fire for drunken misdemeanor. In January, he was given a suspended two year sentence for assaulting hotel employees and damaging property.

Kim was a gold medalist at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games‘ group equestrian event alongside Chung Yu-ra, daughter of the beleaguered presidential confidante Choi Soon-sil. He had worked as the head of the new growth strategy team at Hanwha Engineering & Construction before he resigned due to the assault incident in January. His elder brother as well as their father Kim Seung-youn, chairman of Hanwha Group are famous for their fiery temper and had been on news for assaulting others.
