South Korean bedding vacuum cleaner maker Raycop Korea Inc. said on Thursday its bedding vacuums will air live on HSN, America’s largest TV home shopping channel, entering the U.S. home shopping market for the first time.

HSN, the U.S. top TV home shopping channel owned by HSN Inc., also runs the third largest e-commerce site in the country, following Amazon and Walmart.

Raycop pins high hopes on the first sale of its mattress vacuums on the U.S. home shopping channel after its cleaners that are claimed to be capable of capturing almost 100 percent of common allergens have been recently picked as one of the best small-sized cleaners by professional groups in the U.S., along with hand-held vacuums made by Dyson, Black+Decker and Dirt Devil, which are popular among Americans.

Raycop Korea also announced it plans to further expand its sales channels in the U.S. online shopping market. Currently, online shopping malls of large retailers like Walmart, Office Depot and Bon-Ton offer Raycop products.

After the enormous success Raycop bedding vacuums have made in Japan, the company has become confident that its bedding cleaners would succeed in winning customers’ hearts in other markets, said Raycop Korea CEO Lee Sung-jin.
