South Korea’s electronics giant Samsung Electronics Co. said it will host an art exhibition using its latest premium TV “The Frame” during the London Design Festival in London, the United Kingdom.
According to the company on Thursday it will open “The Frame pop-up store” and “The Frame X Saatchi Art” gallery at Old Truman Brewery on Drays Walk in London from September 21 to 25.
At the pop-up store, visitors will be able to experience Art Mode and Art Store of Samsung Electronics’ The Frame, its key features. Those who purchase the premium TV at the event will be given free delivery and installation service, six-month free subscription to the Art Store, and a choice of TV bezels or TV stand, the company said.
The company will also run The Frame X Saatchi Art gallery to showcase main artworks collected by the online art gallery Saatchi Art that represents 65,000 artists from all over the world. Visitors will also have a chance to attend the presentation of renowned figures and talk with artists.
The Frame, a TV that can be turned into an interior item displaying paintings and pictures when it’s powered off, has won the Best Innovation Award at CES 2017 in January.
