Samsung Electronics will launch a promotional campaign for its strategic phone Galaxy Note 8 to reach out to Korean consumers through the largest ever product experience zones.
The tech giant said on Sunday that it will open promotional zones called “Galaxy Studios” at 80 shopping malls, department stores and train stations across the country by September 15, with 40 more in universities and movie theaters by October targeting young consumers.
The country’s three mobile carriers will also operate Note 8 experience zones at their phone stores.
Pre-orders for the Note 8 are available from Sept. 7, with shipments are scheduled to start on Sept. 15.
The company that has lost reputation last year due to the fire-prone Note 7 has been going all out to restore trust of consumers. Last week, Samsung Electronics unveiled the Galaxy Note 8 with the largest ever 6.3-inch screen and best-yet picture resolution of 2,960x1,440.
