An account can be opened simply with installing the KakaoBank application from app store. It would take seven minutes on average to open an account that allows the users immediately to take out overdraft of 3,000,000 won ($2,695). Credit loan and overdraft facility loan available to salary-paid workers can be up to 150 million won, or 1.6 times their annual pay.
