South Korea’s LG Electronics Inc. said it deployed its first fleet of self-developed guiding and cleaning robots at the Incheon International Airport.
Five guiding and cleaning robots after trial service from February fully went to work, the company said on Friday.
The guides can communicate in four languages - Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese - to help 57 million passengers that use the Incheon gateway every year on flight and other airport service information. When needed, the robots will personally take the passengers to their destinations.
Cleaning robots are capable of spotting areas of cleaning and prioritizing the work to be productive in keeping the expansive airport clean.
