JungKwanJang, a leading ginseng brand in South Korea, introduced a new yakgwa snack on Monday that caters to the demand of young consumers seeking nostalgic favorites with a modern twist.

Yakgwa is a traditional Korean dessert that is made with honey, cheongju, sesame oil, and ginger juice.

JungKwanJang Handcrafted Yakgwa is available in four distinct flavors. Each flavor is designed to provide a vivid taste experience while incorporating the inherent essence of red ginseng.

Creating yakgwa is a meticulous and labor-intensive process, as the texture and taste of the dough can vary depending on temperature and humidity.

JungKwanJang’s new snack is crafted using a base of red ginseng and honey-infused red ginseng condensed extract. This unique combination brings together traditional methods with the preferences and tastes popular among the young people.
