Samsung Electronics Co. claimed that it was making records with Galaxy S8 series smartpones in early-stage sales and marketing activities.
The electronics giant said Monday that more than 3 million people have visited 80 Galaxy S8 experience points available across the country since April 1.
At the Galaxy S8 center, people can test Samsung’s latest technologies embedded in the new smartphone including iris recognition service and DeX docking station that allows the mobile phone to control regular desktop computers as well as voice-activated personal assistant Bixby that debuted earlier this month.

It said global sales had reached 5 million units and shipment 10 million units in the first 20 days.
