The ECCK announced on Monday Mr. Psillakis was elected as its new president during its annual meeting held at Seoul Square in central Seoul.
With the election of Mr. Psillakis, Korea’s top two foreign organizations representing American and European companies, respectively, will be led by executives from the automotive industry. The American Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AMCHAM Korea) is now headed by James Kim, CEO of GM Korea.
Under the leadership of Mr. Psillakis, Mercedes-Benz Korea topped the list in sales of imported cars for the first time since its founding in Korea.
Along with Mr Psillakis, the ECCK elected 8 other officers for its Board of Directors.
