LG Electronics` new flagship smartphone, the G6, will feature a wide-angle dual camera with 1.3 megapixel resolution that does not pop out of its sleek back design, the company said.
The design would allow 360 panorama picture-taking and view while the phone lies flat, it said.
The front camera will also be wide-angle to enable users to take group photos without the need for a selfie stick.
Its vastly upgraded camera also provides a ‘Square Camera’ feature which lets users shoot images in 1:1 format - a popular format on social media apps such as Instagram - and edit and upload them simultaneously in the adjacent window. This also allows users to create GIF files by combining anywhere from 2 and 100 pictures in a loop.
LG will officially unveil G6 at the 2017 Mobile World Congress held on February 26 at Sant Jordi Club in Barcelona, Spain.
