LG Elec to unveil its next flagship G6 in Barcelona on Feb 26

In its invitation to media journalists, LG notices the schedule for G6 launch event with an image, emphasizing its features including a 5.7-inch 18:9 quad high-definition liquid crystal display and a slim and compact body.
LG officially refers to its QHD + (1440×2880) display, 0.4 inch larger than its predecessor G5, as ‘Full Vision’ and registered its trademark in December. The upcoming G6 has a heat pipe inside that will help lower heat, while enhancing safety of the device by conducting various quality tests in accordance with international standards. LG provides remote after-sales service based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
It unveiled its G5 smartphone in February last year at Sant Jordi Club where the company invited about 2,000 audiences for the launch event. G5’s innovative modular design drew much attention, but did poorly on the retail market. LG is to pitch safety and reliability over innovation with the new phone.
