Korea Investment Partners Co., a venture capital under Korea Investment Holdings, is establishing an outlet in Silicon Valley in hopes to hunt for blockbuster investments in the U.S. technology hotbed.

According to investment banking industry Monday, Korea Investment Partners will open its U.S. office in Silicon Valley in March and search for IT startups to invest in. The firm plans to act as their angel fund to help them grow to reap returns in their expansion.
