LG Display flaunts variants in flexible OLED at CES

LG Display Co. proving prowess in the organic light-emitting diode (OLED) technology showed off diverse variants in the flexible display at the CES show in Las Vegas, including a panel embedded with a sound system, mirror-like transparent solution, and also paper-thin OLED that can replace wallpaper.

Crystal Sound OLED has embedded sound system to make the display a standalone TV. It comes in 55-inch and 65-inch panels. Wallpaper OLED is paper-thin 65-inch and 77-inch ultra-high definition TV.

LG has also expanded application of embedded touch sensors to achieve thinner and lighter panel design.

For automotive sector, it introduced plastic OLED displays that perfectly blend with the car interior as well as transparent and mirror displays for futuristic feature.
