South Korea’s Hyundai Motor Co. is out to fully demonstrate its prowess in future mobility at the CES in Las Vegas to be held on Jan. 5-8, focusing on intelligent autonomous driving and advanced, hyper-connectivity solutions that will link cars to user’s lives.
Autonomous IONIQ models will operate on test routes in the boulevards around the exhibition venue, while inside visitors can experience a driverless journey through immersive Virtual Reality simulators, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
The IONIQ Hybrid will reveal enhancements to further its reputation as one of the world’s most fuel efficient cars. Hyundai Motor will also present an interactive experience to demonstrate how its hyper-connected car platform, developed with U.S. IT company Cisco, will be central to making tomorrow’s lifestyles even more convenient. Hyundai Motor’s caring ‘Mobility Vision’ concept shows how Smart House and Connected Car technologies will blur the lines between mobility, and living and working spaces.
Other technologies at the carmaker’s booth will include wearable exoskeletons, micro-mobility solutions and interactive, health-conscious technology, the company said.
