A South Korea’s small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) won a $5 million order to supply bathroom, kitchen and beauty essentials made by Korean SMEs to a firm run by a member of royal family in United Arab Emirates (UAE)..

LOA Corp.’s CEO Yoo Shin said that the Korean SME signed an agreement with Dubai-Korea under Al Fajer Group to become an official partnering company, proving home and living essentials such as kitchenware, bathroom essentials and beauty products worth $5 million on December 15th. The company claimed it is the first time that a Korean firm has ever signed an official partnership with a Dubai-based firm owned by the royal family. As an official partner, LOA has secured an exclusive right to sell home and living essentials made by Korean SMEs to Al Fajer Group and the royal family.

Al Fajer Group is a nationally owned holding company established by Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum Al Maktoum of Dubai`s ruling family. With about 30,000 employees, the group owns over 40 diversified subsidiaries, which include retail, manufacturing, construction, tourism and service companies. Dubai-Korea, a subsidiary of the group, is a distributor of Korean-made products established by Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum, second son of the group’s CEO.
