James Kim, President and CEO of GM Korea Company, was re-elected to head the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AMCHAM). He will be serving his fourth consecutive year as chairman, the AMCHAM said on Monday.
Kim took office as the chairman of the organization in 2014. Kim said he will remain cooperative for the bilateral partnership and mutual development of South Korea and the United States despite uncertainty caused by the incoming U.S. administration and growing protectionism in the world.
Meanwhile, the AMCHAM appointed Pfizer Pharmaceuticals Korea country manager Oh Dong-woo and Nike Korea CEO Song Wook-hwan in its new slate of leaders.
