Apple’s new iPhone 7 models have hit retail stores in Korea, filling the vacuum after Samsung’s fire-prone Galaxy Note 7 phones were withdrawn from the market. On Friday, Apple announced the official launch of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus available online and offline in Korea.
The new iPhones are water- and dust-resistant and the headphone jack on both models is removed in favor of stereo speakers, a major difference from their predecessor iPhone 6s.
The iPhone 7 has a 4.7-inch display with a 1334x750-pixel resolution at 326 pixels per inch and 1400 to 1 contrast ratio. The iPhone 7 Plus has a 5.5-inch display with a 1920x1080-pixel resolution at 401 pixels per inch and 1300 to 1 contrast ratio.
Both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are available in 32GB, 128GB and 256GB storage options and in Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, Matte Black and Jet Black. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were launched in the first batch of countries including the United States on Oct. 16.
