The 17th World Knowledge Forum (WKF), the largest business forum in Asia, will kick off next Tuesday in Seoul and its opening ceremony will be open to the public free of charge.

Under the theme of "Aiming for Great Instauration," the three-day forum hosted by South Korea`s largest business news media Maekyung Media Group will allow free access to take four key sessions - the keynote speech of Gerhard Schroder, former Chancellor of Germany, as well as speeches of Dick Cheney, former vice president of the United States, Wendy Sherman, U.S. Department of State Ambassador, and David Rubenstein, co-founder of world`s largest private equity fund The Carlyle Group. The opening ceremony will be held at 8:00 a.m. on October 11.

The 17th WKF will take place at Jangchung Gymnasium located in Jangchung-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul. The gymnasium with a gross floor area of 11,399.2 square meters has total 4,507 seats.
