German auto parts supplier Robert Bosch GmbH filed a lawsuit in the United States against South Korean rival Mando Corp. for alleged infringements of its four patents.
The suit, filed at United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on Thursday, claims some brake systems (ABS) and electronic stability control (ESC) products supplied by Mando breach four of Bosch`s patents.
Bosch has sought for damages and a court order to ban Mando from further patent infringement in the filing. It added that it sent a letter of complaint to Mando specifying infringed components and patents in July. It also suggested a meeting sometime this month to talk over the matter.
Mando, however, strongly denied the German firm’s claims on Friday, pledging to take the bull by the horns.
