LG Electronics unpackages V20 in Seoul and San Francisco

The V series is LG’s premium flagship smartphone line featuring high-end audio and video functions.
It features 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC powered by ESS Technology, designers of high-performance audio products to deliver clearer sound by minimizing distortion and ambient noise by up to 50 percent.
The V20 is also equipped with HD Audio Recorder that allows studio quality audio experience by using three high AOP microphones to record sound.
LG joined up with Danish premium audio-video products maker B&O PLAY to polish audio capacity of V20.
The V20’s video recording features is upgraded to allow users to record sharper video footage while neutralizing shaky images and Hi-Fi video recording function removes unwanted background noise. The V20 captures audio using 24-bit, 48 kilohertz (kHz) Linear Pulse Code Modulation (LPCM), the same format used in professional video equipment.
The premium phone has both the front and rear cameras with wide angle capabilities. The 5MP front camera with a 120-degree lens expands the selfie experience to take bigger pictures with seven or eight friends.
The LG V20 will be available in Korea later this month followed by other regions.
