It will unveil the new Priv (short for privacy) to augment the company’s supremacy in security in a hotel in Seoul on Sept. 20.
The Priv BlackBerry, powered by Android operating system and featuring its signature physical slide-out keyboard, was launched in October 2015 carrying a price tag of $700. It features a 5.4-inch curved display and a slide-out keyboard that is also touch-enabled.
BlackBerry Korea pulled out of the Korean market in 2013.
