The union and management of Renault Samsung Motors Co. reached an agreement on this year’s wage negotiations without any dispute for the second year in a row.
The agreed package will be put to a vote for two days starting Wednesday. It follows five official rounds of negotiations and nine working group meetings since July 11.
Under the agreement, the base salary will rise 31,200 won ($28.5) next year on top of 150 percent productivity incentive, 2 million won for advance profit sharing and 7.5 million won in other incentives.
Earlier, the unions of its bigger rival Hyundai Motor rejected this year’s wage agreement and went on strike.
