Intellian Technologies, Inc., South Korea’s leading developer and manufacturer of satellite antennas, said it aims to reach 200 billion won ($180 million) in sales by 2020.

Intellian president Eric Sung, 44, emphasized continuous investment with a focus on R&D and talent development is a must to better respond to a fast-growing satellite communication market.

The company is scheduled to go public on the KOSDAQ market in October.

The IPO will pave the way for the sustainable growth of the company, boosting its goal of becoming a global leader in mobile satellite antennas, Song said.

The company will issue 1.45 million shares for up to 29.7 billion won through the IPO and subscription for retail investors will take place at Korea Investment & Securities on Oct. 6-7.

Founded in 2004, Intellian develops antennas for satellite-based data service and satellite broadcasting. It is the world’s largest player in maritime satellite antennas.

Sales reached 59.5 billion won with 5.2 billion won in operating profit last year. Sales in the first six months of this year came to 42.5 billion won with an operating profit of 7.1 billion won. Sales this year are expected to top 80 billion won.
