KB Financial and Hyundai Securities to swap stocks Oct. 19

The brokerage house said Thursday that it will hold a shareholders’ meeting to vote on the swap plan on Oct. 4, three weeks earlier than original date of Oct. 24.
The Financial Services Commission approved the stock exchange between the two financial firms on Aug. 31.
Shares of Hyundai Securities traded at 7,400 won ($6.63) on 1:34 p.m. Friday, down 0.40 percent from the previous session. Shares of KB Financial Group reached 39,050 won, down 1.26 percent.
