LG Electronics’ card-stacking video on washing machine to hit 100 mn views

The electronics maker in collaboration with professional cardstacker Bryan Berg took on challenge to build the tallest building of cards on top of its new washing machine that was running at 1,000 revolutions per minute. Berg succeeded to build the tower with height of 3.3 meters with cards on top of the washing machine in 12 hours, and LG Electronics and Berg received the official Guinness World Record title.
LG Electronics on April released the viral video that captured the cardstacking challenge through online social media such as Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram, and the video gained popularity across the world. The video was especially popular in Europe with about 30 million views.
The washing machine is equipped with a system that was designed based on the suspension system used in vehicles to boost the appliance’s durability and energy efficiency while reducing noise, said LG Electronics.
