Samsung SDS Co., an information and communication technology (ICT) services unit of South Korea’s largest conglomerate Samsung Group, is accelerating its efforts to expand its presence in the global market by supplying its retail solution Nexshop to a number of companies engaged in electronics, automobile, and real estate industries.

Nexshop is a specialized solution for retailers that provides them with shopping service strategies, customized sales information, and training for sales personnel. The solution allows retailers to provide customized promotions based on customers’ purchase history data and also analyzes promotion effects.

According to Samsung SDS, it is currently supplying the Nexshop solution to Samsung Electronics Co.’s mobile device stores across the world. About 300,000 sales employees hired by 57 regional offices receive training to enhance their sales capability via Nexshop training solution.

Samsung SDS also said that it has signed a business agreement with Zoopla, a major British real estate portal, last month, to provide its retail solution. Under the deal, Zoopla users will be able to get hold of property sales information via their tablets and displays and also check property locations based on enhanced map information. They will also be able to go on a virtual reality tour of selected buildings, according to the company.

Samsung SDS has also provided a demonstration of Nexshop to a German automaker in China.
