Samsung tops J.D. Power poll on kitchen, washer and TV

이미지 확대According to the U.S.-based global market research company on July 19 (local time), the South Korean electronics giant ranked highest in six factors, including three laundry segments - front-load washer (857), top-load washer (845) and clothes dryer (857)-as well as highest in the dishwasher segment (837), freestanding range segment (841), and side-by-side refrigerator segment (826).
It became the industry’s first to rank highest in all three laundry segments for two consecutive years. The company received six awards this year, beating the record of four each in last year and 2014.
In the J.D. Power 2016 Television (TV) Satisfaction Report released on July 28, Samsung won the top honor for customer satisfaction with 50-inch or larger TVs.
It marks the fourth winning streak for the Korean firm in the segment. Sony ranked highest in satisfaction with TVs smaller than 50 inches for this year.
