South Korea’s Samsung Card Co. announced on Tuesday that it moved its office in New York to San Jose, a major city of Silicon Valley and home to many fin-tech companies, earlier this month.
The card company decided to move out of the U.S. base in New York it had from 2002 to build a new network around the mecca of advanced financial technology.
Along with move, the company launched three-month program called Catch the Wave for executives and staff members inviting them to build on creative ideas and turn them into business ventures.
