South Korea’s KEB Hana Bank said it will be expanding the service allowing simple money transfer through mobile phone device to the U.K.

The service dubbed 1Q Transfer is an application designed to make overseas remittance easy using mobile devices. It can be used to send money to the U.K., following similar service destined for the Philippines, Australia, Indonesia and Canada. The user simply needs mobile phone number of a recipient in the U.K.

With the launch of the service, people living in the U.K. including students can send and receive money through their mobile devices more conveniently than before.

The transfer fee is 5,000 won ($4.38) for less than $500 per transaction and 7,000 won for more than $500. The maximum amount per transaction is $10,000. Money transfers for students, tourists, and workers in Britain will now become easier.

The bank plans to expand the service to 70 countries including 24 with outlets by the end of this year.
