South Korea’s tech giant Samsung Electronics Co. launched the Gear IconX, a connected cord-free headphone that stores music and tracks fitness activities, in the local market on Friday.

According to the company, the wireless earbuds allow consumers to access music from their smartphones via Bluetooth connection. They also function as an independent music player as they are loaded with a 3.5 gigabyte user-accessible memory, which is big enough to store up to 1,000 songs.

Gear IconX also functions as a fitness tracker. The earbuds are loaded with an acceleration sensor and heart rate monitor that provide a voice guide to walking and running time and distance as well as the amount of calories burnt without a smartphone.

Samsung’s new wireless earbuds priced at 220,000 won ($194) come in three colors - black, blue, and white. Blue-colored headsets will be available in August.
