The British Chamber of Commerce in Korea (BCCK) will hold the Queen`s Birthday Ball to celebrate the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II who is Britain`s longest-serving monarch after 63 years on the throne. She was born in April 1926 and crowned in 1952 after the death of her father King George Ⅵ.

The Queen`s Birthday Ball, supported by Pulse by Maeil Business News, will be held on June 4th in the Grand Ballroom, at the Grand Hyatt Seoul in Yongsan-gu. The British Ambassador to Korea Charles Hay and the BCCK Chairman Steve Duckworth will be present, as well as 450 or more business people from both Korea and the UK.

The dress code for the event is `black tie`, and the theme kept secret until the doors open with participants able to enjoy British music and food. "All proceeds from the raffle and auction will be donated to our charities," said Sean Blakeley, the CEO of the BCCK. "This event will also serve as an opportunity for Korea and Britain to strengthen their business ties through the networking available."
