South Korea’s tech giant Samsung Electronics Co. has started to receive pre-orders for its portable camera that can shoot 360-degree photos and videos.
According to the leading consumer electronics manufacturer, the round Gear 360 camera priced 399,300 won ($349.4) is available for pre-orders in Korea. Consumers who purchase the Gear 360 during the pre-order period will receive the gadget before its official release on Apr. 29. Only 360 units of the Gear 360 have been set aside for pre-order sales.
Consumers who make pre-orders of the Gear 360, which is loaded with double fisheye lens, will receive a free package of the compatible Gear VR headset that allows them to observe recorded videos in the form of virtual reality and also a 5,100 milliampere-hour (mAh) battery.
