South Korean automaker Kia Corp. will unveil its future vision for sustainable purpose built vehicle (PBV) mobility solutions at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, the United States, in January.
It will be Kia’s first participation in the CES in five years and the first appearance following the 2021 corporate brand relaunch.
During the event scheduled from January 9 to 12 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Kia plans to introduce its step-by-step roadmap and business strategies for PBVs.
Kia’s CES 2024 booth will showcase a diverse lineup of PBVs, including three mid-sized PBV concept cars, one large-sized PBV concept car, and one small-sized PBV concept car.
Kia will also unveil technologies such as easy swap, allowing vehicles used as taxis to be transformed into delivery-specific mobility by changing life modules according to usage. It will also showcase dynamic hybrid, enabling the assembly of various-sized vehicle bodies tailored to customer demands, facilitating small-scale production of multiple models.
Kia’s detailed strategies will be unveiled during the Kia CES Media Day Event, slated for 3 p.m., local time, on January 8 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
