Samsung Electronics release affordable Galaxy S23 FE in Korea

The price for the new smartphone has been set at 847,000 won ($643), about 300,000 won cheaper than the flagship S23 product. The actual purchase price is expected to be lower with subsidies from mobile carriers.
A 256-gigabyte storage model is available in four colors: mint, graphite, purple, and cream. Two additional colors—indigo and tangerine—will be available at Samsung.com and the Samsung Gangnam offline flagship store.
Galaxy S23 FE incorporates the in-house application processor, Exynos 2200, featured in the Galaxy S22, with a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and a rear camera with 50 million pixels, as well as 8GB RAM and a 4500 milliampere-hour battery.
The exterior design is also similar to the Galaxy S23 series, with an aluminum frame applied.
The new model boasts even more affordability with a program that will provide a return of 50 percent of the retail price after two years of using the Galaxy S23 FE.
Samsung Electronics said that the program is in line with the government’s policy to ease household communication expenses.
The company also offers a trial program, allowing consumers who purchase the Galaxy S23 FE to return the product freely within 14 days, limited to the first 600 customers.
Buyers of the new Galaxy S23 FE until December 22 with a mobile plan will also benefit from promotional offers, such as a free Galaxy SmartTag 2 or a 25W power delivery charger, as well as additional discounts and gifts from three major mobile carriers.
